This workshop will explore how Hollywood portrays characters with disabilities. Carrie Sandahl will show film clips from the the "Wizard of Oz" and "Dolphin Tale," then ask, "How do we learn what disability means from a very early age?" Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas with one another and discuss the accurate images of disabilities that Hollywood should show and how people think about disabilities.
