The Chicago Circle committee is developing a display in one of the lounges in the student union to celebrate the creation and early life of the Circle campus. The dedication of this new display will take place in the Circle Lounge of the Student Center East building (formerly Chicago Circle Center) on Saturday, Sept. 6

Alumni Book Club Online Calling all alumni authors
The University of Illinois Alumni Association has been collecting books authored by UIC alumni for several years to be placed in the UIC Alumni Authors Library, currently housed in the Alumni Association office on the 5th floor of Student Center East. We are in the process of creating an online book club featuring UIC alumni authors. If you are interested in participating in an online book club, please complete the submission form. You will be contacted and additional information will be provided should your book be selected..

Illinois Connection
Late last week, the governor signed most of the FY 2009 state budget into law. Your efforts were instrumental in obtaining $743.4 million in funding for the University of Illinois.
