A LIVING HISTORY THEATER EVENT: WHERE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS HISTORY COMES ALIVE
The University of Illinois Alumni Alliance invites you to join us at Mt. Hope and Roselawn Cemeteries for a walking tour through University history. Costumed actors will present the stories of seven innovators and trailblazers who have shaped Illinois history, including the first woman to graduate from the U of I, Alice Cheever Bryan, “Father of College Bands” Albert Austin Harding, historian and bestselling children’s author James and Ruth Randall, Civil War veteran John Moss, and Seichi Konzo, a pioneer in home air conditioning.
