Benefits for Members
Become a Member
When you join the Alumni Association as a member, part of your membership includes a charitable gift to the University of Illinois. Our alumni are making a difference across campus and around the world by supporting students and the groundbreaking research completed at the University. Please choose one fund below that the University has designated as a priority to start the membership process.

Dogs, cats, cows, and horses. The veterinarians and students at the College of Veterinary Medicine care for all these animals and more. Your gift to the Indigent Pet Fund makes treatment options possible for animal patients that are unowned or whose owners have extremely limited financial means.

The economic effects of COVID-19 and recent circumstances related to racial inequities continue to shake our communities, and many of our Illinois families will be deeply impacted in the years to come. Part of our land grant mission is to provide Illinois residents with affordable access to our world-class university.
Through the Illinois Commitment program, we will cover tuition and fees, for up to four years, for all qualified in-state students. To learn more about the program and eligibility criteria, please visit admissions.illinois.edu/commitment.

Your gift to the Chancellor’s Fund will provide University leadership flexible funding that can easily be directed to where resources are needed most. Examples where these funds may have a critical impact include:
• Faculty and student costs related to remote learning.
• Student fees forgiveness.
• Emergency Scholarship Funds.
• Counseling Services.
• Other unforeseen challenges.
