Welcome to St. Moritz, a beloved Alpine resort town and sports destination! Venture out on a walking tour of this scenic Swiss town. Breathe in pristine mountain air and soak up the postcard views before you. St. Moritz was host to the Winter Olympics in 1928 and 1948 and remains a top-class snow-sports getaway. Next, take a train to Zuoz, a picturesque village with winding streets and brightly painted buildings.
Bernina Express | Tirano, Italy | St. Moritz, Switzerland
Day 4
Cross the spectacular Alps on a train ride to Tirano, Italy. The Bernina Express is a narrow-gauge train with panoramic sightseeing cars that allow you to revel in the varying landscape. Begin your journey amid glaciers and snow and travel all the way down to Tirano, Italy, where sightings of palm trees may surprise you. Enjoy lunch while in Tirano. Later, learn about local lifestyles and traditions during an engaging Meet the People session.

The day is yours at leisure. You may wish to take a challenging hike on one of the area's fantastic trails! If you prefer something more relaxing, arrange a massage and unwind in the hotel's wellness facilities. You may also visit the Segantini Museum, featuring works of the famous Alpine artist. St. Moritz is known for its gastronomy. Perhaps head out for a delicious dinner of fine Swiss cuisine.

More adventure awaits! Travel the impossibly beautiful Maloja Pass, which reveals views of sparkling glacial lakes, rivers and picture-perfect Swiss villages. Arrive in Italy and cruise to sweet Bellagio, admiring its promenade laden with lime trees, oleanders and cobblestone streets. Check in to the Hotel La Palma and begin exploring your surroundings.
Borromean
Day 7
Delve further into this magical Italian Lakes region, one of Europe's favorite retreats. Then begin your discovery of the Borromean Islands, nestled in the turquoise waters of Lake Maggiore. Cruise to Isola Madre to enjoy the English-style gardens filled with exotic flora, fauna and peacocks. Continue to Isola Dei Pescatori and Isola Bella to behold a17th-century baroque palace. Tonight, engage in a discussion about genius artists Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.
Milan
Day 8
Travel to Milan, which many consider the fashion capital of the world. Visit the Church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie to see Leonardo's "The Last Supper," before exploring La Scala, where Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" and Verdi's "Otello" were first performed. Finally, see the Duomo, a beautiful cathedral built by artisans from across Europe.
