Oh, the places we go … University of Illinois alumni are globetrotters who travel near and far, but never forget their Alma Mater!

With the local Notre Dame of Mantes-la-Jolie in the background, Richard, ’67 ACES, MS ’71 ACES, and Barbara Jurgens, ’73 ACES, enjoy a Paris-to-Normandy cruise along the waters of the Seine.

The medieval Collegiate Church of Our Lady of Mantes was constructed between c. 1155 and 1350, and remains a key attraction for the small commune located just west of Paris. Our Lady of Mantes is associated with the Capetian dynasty, and despite its grandeur, was built as a church and not a cathedral.
