History and Traditions

Through scholarship, exhibits, and public programming, the University of Illinois Alumni Association’s History and Traditions Programs foster greater understanding of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s rich heritage, the achievements of its alumni, and its contributions to world over the past 150+ years.

This web portal highlights our programs and services, including the Richmond Family Welcome Gallery at Alice Campbell Alumni Center, and provides access to University history resources created by the Alumni Association, the University Archives, the Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing, and other units at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
