Celebrate 100 Years of Memorial Stadium!

We’re celebrating the 100th anniversary of Memorial Stadium, and we want YOU to be part of the festivities! Share your favorite memories in a video, and help us commemorate this special occasion.

How to Record Your Video

If you’d prefer to submit your audio recording in person, visit our Story Booth during Homecoming Week! The Story Booth allows you to record a 90-second memory about your experiences at the University, with the chance for your story to be added to our Memory Space exhibit or preserved by the University of Illinois Archives. The Story Booth will be open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Stop by our front desk during Homecoming week for more information on how to submit your story.

  •  Step 1: Choose a quiet, well-lit location to record your video.
  •  Step 2: Start with a brief introduction: your name, graduation year, and major.
  •  Step 3: Share your favorite Memorial Stadium memory. Keep it between 30 to 90 seconds.
  •  Step 4: Please record your video in a safe, stationary environment with minimal movement..
  •  Step 5: Upload and share your video in .mp4 or .mov format.

By submitting your video, you acknowledge that it may be used as appropriate for UIAA social media content. Please note that not all videos will be shared publicly. Submitted videos may also be added to the Richmond Family Welcome Gallery’s Memory Space exhibit and could be permanently preserved by the University of Illinois Archives.
