Corporal Kabara served with the 101st Airborne Division. His tour of duty began on November 11, 1969. He was killed in Thua Thien, South Vietnam. Corporal Kabara was awarded the Bronze Star with an Oak Leaf Cluster for heroism and the Purple Heart.
