I’s on the World: Antarctic Illini

Morgan Lynge Jr. ’64 LAS, MBA ’65, and Brenda Callahan Lynge ’97 las try to keep warm during their trip last January to Antarctica, the only continent these experienced travelers had yet to explore. On this particular day, temperatures were in the 20s and it was snowing lightly, but the Lynges weren’t the only ones braving the cold—their fair-weather friends, the gentoo penguins, also were dressed for the occasion.
