Alumnus races to raise funds for cystic fibrosis

Mark Luthy, ’78 BUS, is participating in this year’s Big Sur International Marathon on behalf of The Boomer Esiason Foundation—a nonprofit committed to increasing awareness, education and quality of life for those affected by cystic fibrosis. Luthy will run in memory of Randy Tipton, a childhood friend who fought the terminal disease until his passing at age 20.
