The Big Picture: Move-In Day

Just like avian migration and varsity football, the end of summer brings Move-In Day to the University of Illinois, when incoming freshmen arrive on campus with families and possessions in tow. I-Guides to the rescue! Founded in 1947, this orange-shirted student group offers newbies a hand with all manner of earthly belongings. Here, three intrepid I-Guides steady a rickety-looking cart en route to the owner’s new digs in Allen Hall.
