The Big Picture: Global Talent

Homecoming 2019 saw the inauguration of the University’s first Global Talent Show, highlighting music, dance and performances from diverse cultures. The show was held at the U of I’s William R. and Clarice V. Spurlock Museum of World Cultures, itself a regional center for cultural and archaeological collections from centuries of history and across the globe. Chinese guzheng music, traditional dances and good old-fashioned yo-yo tricks created an eclectic entertainment mix.
