Gregory D. Cargill, ’71 ENG, and wife Kathryn (Samaras) Cargill, ’74 FAA, set out from their home in Palos Heights, Ill., on “a wonderful 14-day cruise to Australia and New Zealand.” Run by Go Next Travel, the Oceania cruise ship excursion was part of the UIAA’s EXPLORERS Alumni Travel Program (uiaa.org/explorers/).
The Cargills and fellow Illini enjoyed an epic Outback adventure that featured iconic sights and focused on Aboriginal culture and Maori heritage.
