Lt. Huffman served with the 532nd Bombardment Squadron, 381st Bombardment Group. He was a navigator on a B-17 bomber, killed in action near Leverkusen, Germany. He is buried at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Toledo, Illinois.
