Fighting Illini gymnast Tyson Bull a winner abroad
Following his first season with the UI men's gymnastics team, student-athlete Tyson Bull finished ninth overall in the all-around at the Australian Gymnastics Championships, also taking the high bar and pommel horse crowns.
Following his first season with the UI men's gymnastics team, student-athlete Tyson Bull finished ninth overall in the all-around at the Australian Gymnastics Championships, also taking the high bar and pommel horse crowns.
Bull’s score ranked ninth out of the 24 gymnasts competing after finishing with a combined all around score of 154.633. His preliminary tally was 77.183 and he posted a final mark of 77.450. Hailing from The Basin, Victoria, Bull won the pommel horse title with a combined score of 26.550. He took the high bar crown with a 26.400 over the pair of competitions.
