I’s on the World: Go (Key) West

Oh, the places we go … University of Illinois alumni are globetrotters who travel near and far, but never forget their Alma Mater!

If you went to the ends of the Earth, you’d likely find loyal Illini. Most certainly you’ll find them at the southernmost tip of the U.S. From left, John LeVanti, ’75 MEDIA—who made his mark on the football field—and wife Dori LeVanti, ’73 FAA, EDM ’99—who supported John and his teammates as Illinette. Joining them is daughter Kristie LeVanti Kyes, ’06 AHS, who ran track and field.

Huddled on the right are Hannah Radnitzer, ’14 AHS, Nick LeVanti, ’09 AHS—who followed his father onto the Illinois gridiron—and Kristie’s husband J.R. Kyes, ’05 AHS, MS ’07 AHS, who covered second base for Illini baseball.
