A: The Quad Cam, which shows a 24/7 live feed of the Main Quad from atop Foellinger Auditorium, was installed in 2001 or 2002 by the Strategic Communications and Marketing department. In the early years, it was user-controlled and often had a long digital line of people waiting to “drive” it. Due to privacy concerns, StratCom eventually eliminated the user controls and transitioned to a stationary camera.
