A: Thousands of people visit the Illini Union every day, and its lost-and-found is a catalog of the human experience, ranging from the mundane (I-Cards and eyeglasses) to the baffling (dozens of Airpods, in their cases, and almost always missing their mate). But, according to the Union, perhaps the strangest thing that’s turned up in the lost-and-found was a veterinarian’s DNA sample for a dog. If you’re anything like me, your first thought is, “I hope that doesn’t end up in the wrong hands and someone clones that poor dog!” No? Just me?
