Zagreb, Croatia

Days 1 & 2
Arrive in Zagreb, Croatia, where an AHI Travel representative will meet you to travel to the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel. Tonight, get to know your fellow travelers at a Welcome Reception and Dinner.

Zagreb

Day 3

Broaden your knowledge about Croatia’s fascinating and complex history; then set off to discover Zagreb’s many treasures. Tucked between the sparkling Sava River and the forested slopes of Mount Medvednica, this metropolis wows visitors with distinctive architecture, lively squares, a booming food culture and colorful murals. Take in the sights of St. Mark's Church in the beautifully preserved upper town and stroll through Mirogoj Cemetery, designed by architect Hermann Bollé.

Zagreb

Day 4

The entire day is free to make your own discoveries in Zagreb or join our elective excursion to the Ljubljana, Slovenia. If you choose to stay in Zagreb, perhaps visit a buzzing market to sample honeys, fresh breads and other locally made goods. Or, visit a museum. Zagreb's top-notch museums are insightful and full of history!

Zagreb | Plitvice Lakes National Park | Zadar

Day 5
Your Mediterranean adventure heads south to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases crystal lakes, shimmering cascades and an enchanting forest. Take in the sights of this whimsical world on the well-marked paths and try to spy some of the region’s endemic species, including birds and bear. After, travel to Zadar and board your ship. Get to know the ship's amenities, unpack and gather for a Welcome Aboard Reception and Dinner.

Zadar | Šibenik

Day 6
Disembark to explore Zadar, a storied university town with an impressive Roman Forum and timeless church. Witness the village’s modern attractions at its waterfront promenade, including the sea organ, a musical art installation and the Monument to the Sun. During your outing, pause to taste some unique Maraschino cherry liquor and other locally made sweets.

Šibenik | Split

Day 7
Šibenik is a proud city that welcomes visitors with lovely alleys, squares and striking buildings. Visit the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James, one of Europe’s most significant monumental churches. Continue to Split to roam the courtyards and chambers of Diocletian’s Palace. Also see the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, the Golden Gate and the Peristyle.

Hvar Island | Korčula

Day 8
Sunny Hvar will delight all of your senses! Home to a Renaissance cathedral and an ancient community theater, Hvar also boasts a welcoming community and relaxing vibe. Uncover a slice of paradise in the ancient port town of Stari Grad, Croatia’s oldest town. Visit a local lavender farm and a family-owned winery.

Korčula

Day 9

Cruise to lovely Korčula, next on the itinerary. This spectacular “Emerald Isle” juts into the Peljesac Channel and brims with natural beauty. Discover the stunning old town, cobbled lanes and enduring architecture with a guide.

Ston & Mali Ston | Dubrovnik

Day 10
Board a boat in the fishing village of Mali Ston. Following a ride across Mali Ston Bay, enjoy a visit to an oyster farm to taste delicious bivalves, fresh from the sea, accompanied by wine. Next, gain insight into a centuries-old practice while visiting some of the world’s oldest salt harvesting sites. See the Great Wall of Ston, which links Ston to Mali Ston. Reunite with your ship in Dubrovnik and gather for a Farewell Reception and Captain's Dinner.

Dubrovnik

Day 11

Dubrovnik, the darling of the Adriatic, shimmers like a jewel. Its quaint harbor is accented by tangerine-hued roofs and a brilliant stretch of cerulean sea. You’re sure to have many reflective moments in this waterside enclave where lavender-scented laundry flutters above. A walking tour showcases the 14th-century Franciscan Monastery’s Romanesque cloister and the wonders of Sponza Palace, Rector's Palace and Baroque cathedral.

Depart for your home city

Day 12
After breakfast, it's time to say farewell and head for home.
