Depart your gateway city and arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, where an AHI Travel representative will be waiting to accompany you to the Hôtel Mercure Honfleur. Once you’ve settled into your room, get acquainted with your fellow travelers at this evening's Welcome Reception at the hotel, followed by a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant.

For centuries, artists have set up their easels in Honfleur to capture its colorful character. Embark on a guided walk in this picturesque port town that captivated artists like Claude Monet. Stroll along narrow, cobblestone streets and squares filled with cafés, galleries and shops to the old harbor flanked by tightly packed, historic houses. See the wooden Church of Sainte-Cathérine, crafted by 15th-century shipbuilders. Relish some free time and rejoin your group for dinner in town this evening.

Day 4
Learn about Normandy's critical role on D-Day as you drive to Arromanches this morning. Tour the Landing Museum here and have lunch together. Then, visit Omaha Beach to contemplate the extraordinary bravery of the Allied forces. Continue along the Calvados coastline, the theater for Operation Overlord, to Colleville-sur-Mer to visit the moving Normandy American Cemetery. Conclude this poignant day with a visit to Point du Hoc, where U.S. Rangers scaled 100-foot cliffs to destroy German artillery.

Day 5
This morning, visit the beautiful 10th-century Château du Bec, where you will meet one of the owners and tour the castle and pastoral grounds. In this idyllic setting, savor a lunch of local cuisine with wine. Continue to Le Havre on the English Channel and visit the Musée Malraux of Modern Art (MuMa), holding one of France’s largest collections of impressionist paintings. On a guided tour, admire works by Monet, Degas and other masters in the airy galleries.

Day 6
Today, prepare to be awed when you visit the spectacular Mont-Saint-Michel, a small granite tidal island off the Normandy coast that rises like a mirage over the surrounding flat white sands. On a guided tour, discover the unique history of the glorious Abbey Church, which has served as a fortress, monastery and prison over time. Then, enjoy time at leisure for lunch, shopping and wandering the ramparts to watch the tides and admire the panoramic coastal views.

Day 7
This morning, travel to scenic, medieval Bayeux to tour the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Norman Gothic architecture, and enjoy some free time to explore this charming town. Then, visit an estate that distills Calvados from its own apples for a buffet lunch and a glass of Calvados. Continue to the award-winning and poignant Caen Memorial Museum. On a guided visit, gain an international perspective of World War II and the Cold War. Later, join a local expert who will delve into the French Resistance.

Your final day is yours to plan in Honfleur!
