Lt. Hudson graduated from the Corpus Christi, TX, air base and received his wings, December, 1942. He was in training for seven months and 11 days. He was due to attend transcontinental flying for 3 weeks in Miami, FL. He eventually served overseas with a fighter squadron of an aircraft carrier on sea duty. He died in a plane crash in New Jersey.
