John Marion Brown
World War II
Lt. Brown served with the 365th Bomber Squadron, 305th Bomber Group, Heavy. He was a pilot, killed in action over Germany. He enlisted November 16, 1942, at Chanute AFB, Rantoul, Illinois, and received his wings February 7, 1944, at Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. He is buried at Ardennes American Cemetery, Plot D Row 14 Grave 6, Neupre, Belgium. He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
