Signalman Drazba was with the U.S. Naval Reserve. He was killed in action when his ship, U.S.S. Little, was sunk off Guadalcanal by three Japanese destroyers while patrolling off Lunga Point. He is listed as Missing in Action or Buried at Sea on the Tablets of the Missing at Manila American Cemetery, Manila, Philippines. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
