Lt. Glasebrook served with the 40th Tank Battalion, 7th Armored Division as a Tank Commander. He was killed in action in Overloon, Netherlands. He is buried at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Henri-Chapelle, Belgium, Plot A Row 13 Grave 51. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
