Lt. Hook served with the 66th Bomber Squadron, 44th Bomber Group, Heavy. He was a navigator with a B-24 crew. The plane he was training in at England crashed near Watton. He is buried at Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England, Plot D Row 5 Grave 14.
