Lt. Kelahan was a B-26 pilot Marauder bomber based in England. He was killed in action over northern France when his plane was shot down. He had been awarded the Air Medal with several clusters for missions completed. Lt. Kelahan was buried at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, Missouri, as a group burial on Jan 9, 1952.
