Flight Officer Endsley was a P-47 pilot assigned to the 360th Service Group. He was killed over Kaiapit, New Guinea. F.O. Endsley earned the Purple Heart, Pilot Wings, Air Medal, American Campaign Medal, Pacific Campaign Medal with One Battle Star, and Army Good Conduct Medal. He is buried at Springdale Cemetery, Peoria, Illinois.
