Oh, the places we go ... University of Illinois alumni are globetrotters who travel near and far, but never forget their Alma Mater!

Oh, the places we go ... University of Illinois alumni are globetrotters who travel near and far, but never forget their Alma Mater!

Take Giorgi Kvirikashvili, MS ’98 BUS, prime minister of Georgia. On Feb. 29, at a dinner hosted by Georgia Ambassador Ian Kelly for the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions, Kelly surprised Kvirikashvili with a gift from his home state: a baseball cap and mug from the University of Illinois. Kvirikashvili attended business school at Illinois through the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship program, which is funded by the U.S. Dept. of State.
