Ben Cober, ’07 AHS, and George Zimmerman, ’06 BUS, have co-authored their first sci-fi fantasy novel, Encounter IX, which takes place in the year 2221 C.E. and follows the fated crew-members of an interplanetary star ship as they fight to establish the first off-world colony.
“The tale is one that would make Odysseus wish he had a rocket ship,” Cober says of the book. “It’s ‘Master and Commander’ meets ‘Interstellar’ meets ‘Avatar.’”
