Alumna Reshma Saujani to speak at White House Summit
On June 14, 2016, more than 5,000 men and women will come together for The United State of Women Summit, which celebrates the advancement of women globally and creates solutions for the challenges ahead. Among the speakers at the event, which is convened by the White House, will be Reshma Saujani, ’96 LAS, founder and CEO of Girls Who Code—a national nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. Saujani will talk about educational opportunities for women, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
