Tatyana McFaddens receives Whang Young Dai Achievement Award
Tatyana McFadden, ’13 ACES, was honored with the Whang Youn Dai Achievement Award at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. She was selected as an athlete who best exemplifies the spirit of the Paralympic Games and the Paralympic values.
The Whang Youn Dai Achievement Award started at the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games and has been presented at every Paralympic Games since then. Each recipient receives a pure gold medal, weighing 75 grams, during the closing ceremony.
