Oh, the places we go … University of Illinois alumni are globetrotters who travel near and far, but never forget their Alma Mater!

A camel trek in the Thar Desert, an arid landscape that spans 77,000 square miles between India and Pakistan, was among the highlights of a visit to India by Harold J., ’71 LAS, ’73 UIC, DDS ’75 UIC, and Corinne L., ’71 LAS Kiriluk and their son, Kyle ’03 LAS. Setting out in January 2016, the family began with a wedding in Goa and also visited the ancient city of Jodhpur, ending their journey in sprawling Delhi. They are making plans for an expedition to South America, which will include visits to Patagonia and Iguazu Falls in Argentina.
