The Big Picture: Spring flowers

Spring’s sunnier skies and warmer weather bring renewed greenhouse activity to the Sustainable Student Farm. Founded in 2009, the farm offers a hands-on learning lab for environmentally and economically sustainable agriculture. Student workers and volunteers raise plants to sell at events such as Moms Weekend and at campus farm stands throughout the summer. Additionally, the farm provides produce year round for use by residence hall dining services.
