Lt. Boggs served with the 364th Bomber Squadron, 305th Bomber Group, Heavy. He died in Belgium and is buried at Plot A Row 35 Grave 23, Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.
