18. Outdoor Pool at ARC
Outdoor pools don’t get any better than this. Located at the Activities and Recreation Center—better known as ARC—the 50-meter pool is partitioned into a trio of Olympic-length lap lanes, a diving well and a shallow swim area where colorful float mats bob. Surrounded by decks, lounge chairs and plantings, the pool has hosted many a warm-weather gathering, and remains as fresh and inviting as when it opened in 1971.
