Illinois grad among most generous alumni donors

Thomas Siebel, ’75 LAS, MBA ’83, MS ’85 ENG, founder of Siebel Systems, has been named among The 50 Most Generous Alumni Donors to American Colleges & Universities, according to www.thebestschool.org, which reports that the University of Illinois grad has shown gratitude for his degree education in computer science by showering his alma mater with financial gifts on a regular basis since the year 2000. Most recently, he gave $100 million to jump-start the school’s fundraising campaign.
