Andrew Singer, a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Illinois, has been appointed interim director of the Siebel Center for Design. Until an inaugural director has been selected, Singer will manage the ongoing planning of this multi-million dollar addition to the University. Once built, the 60,000 square-foot building will be a campus-wide hub for student-focused design, thinking and learning.
