Honorary Alumni Award Nominations

The highest honor bestowed upon individuals who are not graduates of University of Illinois by the University of Illinois Alumni Association on behalf of the University of Illinois.  The award is presented to an individual or individuals who have shown exemplary dedication and commitment to the mission of the University and the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Recipients adhere to standards of moral and ethical conduct that would cause the University to be honored to present the recipients as role models for students and alumni.

Two letters of support for the nominee from individuals other than the nominator are required.

Nomination Criteria

  • Nominee Information

  • (Include name at graduation in parentheses, if different.)
  • (Ex. BS in Engineering)
  • (Include company, title, profession, business address, etc. If retired, please include date of retirement.)
  • (List outstanding achievements in chosen field of endeavor and evidence of national or international distinction.)
  • Please provide two letters of support for the nominee from individuals other than the nominator. Document upload file types accepted: PDF, JPEG, PNG and Word Documents.
